Chapter ProfileThe American College of Surgeons, a scientific and educational association of surgeons, was founded in 1913. The College currently has 56,000 Fellows. The Iowa Chapter has 180 Fellows, who strive to improve the quality of surgical patient care by setting standards for surgical education, practice, and ethics.
